Andrew Chernenkov has dedicated the last 15 years to working with coaches and athletes in Ukraine. As a former athlete himself, Andrew has competed in various sports, including soccer, track and field, sand volleyball, and primarily basketball. He later transitioned into coaching basketball as well.
A devoted husband and father to two sons and two daughters, Andrew is passionate about instilling hope in the world of sports in Ukraine. Since 2011, he has organized various sports camps, attracting over 1,000 athletes and coaches. In 2013, he founded the FCA West Streetball League in Ukraine. For seven years, he served as a character coach for the regional Rivne Rugby Team and engaged in numerous discipleship initiatives with coaches.
After completing a 3D Coaching training program in the USA, Andrew has been actively working with coaches across different levels in western Ukraine. His efforts include organizing events, facilitating group studies, and providing mentorship.
Currently, Andrew serves as the Multi-Area Director for FCA in West Ukraine. He is committed to identifying, training, and investing in leaders and volunteers throughout the region to advance the vision of FCA Ukraine.
