I coach to impact and have an influence in/on young people's lives that allows them to become the best version of themselves. While I had knowledge and passion regarding the 3 dimensions studied in this course/framework, this course shed new light on my personal and professional journey. I feel as if I am more aware and re-energized in my way of thinking and being. I appreciated the modules and authentic use of applicable information, strategies and overall instruction throughout the entire course. I believe there isn't enough support and accountability for our coaches in today's systems. This course has literally changed my life! I know you must hear this a lot, but it honestly has! I have never done so much introspection into my soul before this course! Sure I would reflect, but not on this type of level! I was in a very dark coaching mindset last year, on the verge of hanging it up! With mentorship from a colleague/coach/friend and this course, my mentor but more importantly the basketball girls I coach immediately saw a different "coach!" A truly loving, compassionate and caring person who inspires through love instead of motivating through fear and anger! I cannot thank you enough for this experience and I know there are 33 current basketball girls (and hopefully many more in the future) who will be changed forever because of this course! I absolutely recommend this course! It takes coaching to a whole other level. I was coaching on a 1st dimension and now I realize there is so much more to being successful. Successful coaching does not just focus on the physical ability of the player. It is important to use positive encouragement and get rid of 'joy robbers.' You have to be able to motivate kids. It's best to have them enjoy themselves and experience joy. I learned in this course how to become a 3D Coach and change up my coaching style and help my kids become better on and off the field. I think every coach should take this course.

I would recommend this course because I think there are too many coaches out there that think it's acceptable to just coach in the first dimension. They don't know how to do anything different because that's the way they were taught. It made me reflect on my coaching and my teaching and realize that I could definitely improve in some areas. This course provides ideas that could actually be implemented preseason, in-season, and post season. Really good useful information and the speakers were really good! I believe we are in a transitional of education, both in the classroom and in the athletic arenas. The 'my way or the highway' days are done. The best thing I got out of this class was being able to see how I can impact an athlete's life in more ways than just sports. The course makes you really take a look at yourself as a teacher, coach, and overall as a person. It makes you look deep inside and brings out some things that have been put away for some time. The more coaches we can get doing this, the better for our nation. YES, I would recommend this course. It's dynamite! I really enjoyed the 2nd and 3rd Dimensional strategies and Inside-Out Coaching is a must read for all coaches. This course really validated why I coach and I feel that it's content will serve me well for several years!

This is the way I have always felt athletes should be coached but I don't think some coaches know 'how' to coach this way. This program helps coaches understand the importance of coaching the whole person and gives great, practical ways to do that with their own team. The concrete strategies for implementing 3D coaching methods into my own team were so valuable.

I would absolutely recommend this course! I learned a lot of incredibly useful information. If you are going to coach, and you're doing it for the right reasons, this is the place to have that strengthened and honed. The most valuable things I got were the strategies. I knew a lot of the concepts of 3D Coaching. It was nice to have a lot of that reaffirmed. Where I have always struggled is the how-to and the information I got here was invaluable.

What was most valuable? 1. The courageous conversations forged with my colleagues who have also taken the course or whose coaching approach aligns with other great organizations like the Positive Coaching Alliance. 2. Validation the path I have worked toward creating in my 23 year coaching career is closer to that of which is described in the course as well as my own vision of who I want to be for the kids.I would absolutely recommend this course! Absolutely! Reflective practice is key to building meaningful relationships within our academic classrooms and athletic areas. I enjoyed the entire process the course offered. However, while drafting my transformational purpose statement I pulled books by teachers/coaches (mostly basketball) whom I've read and studied in the past. I read snippets from John Wooden, Dick DeVenzio, Dean Smith, Mike Krzyzewski, Bob Knight, Pete Carril, Phil Jackson, Pat Summit, Pete Newell, Bo Ryan, Mark Few, Tony Dungy, Bill Walsh, and Robert Maurer, PhD. It was enlightening to reacquaint myself with their value driven tips and connect it with the what the course was offering me to consider at this stage of my career. I also appreciated the a semi-secular/semi-spiritual approach considering my belief system isn't centered around organized religion.

I honestly can't think of one thing that was THE most valuable part of this course. I enjoyed every aspect of the 2nd and 3rd dimensional aspects of the curriculum. I would recommend this course to other coaches without a doubt! One of the most applicable and useful classes and curriculum that I've been associated with. Every coach who aspires to grow and make a difference in the lives of their players need to take this class. This class is a GAME CHANGER. I did a lot of soul searching with regard to every aspect of my program and how I coach our players. I've grown tremendously through this journey of 3D coaching.

What was most valuable about this course? First of all awareness - We get so wrapped up in the coaching process, that we sometimes don't see the forest through the trees. I have always been confident on teaching girls on a physical level, but this course helped me think outside of my comfort box. It helped me realize that the way to coach girls on a more successful level is a lot more than their physical skills on the field. Girls will respond to me better if I show I care on a much deeper level. I believe girls respond better on an emotional level of coaching. I would recommend it to anyone who has any desire to coach at any level. I liked that it could be applied to any level of coaching, not just college.
