About this Course
Broward County Public Schools has partnered with 3D Institute to help our coaches have greater success and significance on and off the field of play. Along this journey, we will provide tools for coaches to help their athletes perform better on the field of play and have a greater influence in their lives off it. Part of that effort is building relationships with the coach and parents. The focus is a proactive approach to an intentional culture. This course is the first step. Once it is completed, we will continue to provide opportunities to enhance your learning and continue the journey. This will come in the form of email drip campaigns of inspirational and instructional content, live zoom sessions and select in-person training.
The following course is a 38 module online offering that will meet the objectives below:
- Gain a high-level understanding of the 3D Coaching Framework
- Learn about SHAPE America’s National Standards for Sports Coaches as processed through the 3D framework
- Provide tools to address 2nd and 3rd Dimension issues
- Navigating the Coach/Parent Relationship
