Dan Young

Dan Young has been coaching football for 12 years as well as baseball, track, and most recently wrestling and lacrosse. He has coached at youth, middle school, and the high school level. Prior to moving to Atlanta in 2016 he founded the Eastern Shore Bucks in Delaware. The Bucks were and remain a football team that serves the home-school and private school community in the Delaware/eastern shore of Maryland area. It quickly grew from an initial team of 22 players to 40 players and a feeder youth flag football league as well. Dan Young now works at Whitefield Academy just outside of Atlanta and coaches the MS football team and serves as the Wrestling program director at the school. His purpose for coaching is to “be a transformation coach who has the position, power, and platform to use sports as a means to lead athletes on a journey to discover true joy through selflessness and empower them to become men of empathy and justice.”
