Mark Wilson

Mark Wilson has been serving as a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes staff in West Central Florida since 2011. Prior to joining staff, Mark served on the WCFL Leadership Board for over 20 years while running his own mortgage company.
Mark began his journey as the Director of WCFL FCA, which covered a four-county area including Polk, Hardee, Highlands, and DeSoto counties. In 2015, Mark took over as a Multi-Area Director supervising ministry in 15 counties including Tampa Bay FCA, Gulf Coast FCA, Southwest Florida FCA, and WCFL FCA.
During his entire time with FCA, Mark has always had an interest in coaches’ ministry as he recognizes the impact coaches had on his life as a multi-sport athlete in high school and a Division-1 football player at the University of Georgia. In addition to his WCFL Director duties, Mark also understood that there is a missing link with many coaches not having strategies to coach in the 2nd and 3rd dimensions of an athlete, the heart and the soul. This led him to begin studying, and ultimately working with, 3D Coaching and the 3D Institute. Mark has been a certified presenter offering coaches training clinics in central FL for the last 6 years.
In the fall of 2023, Mark accepted a new role as the Region 14 FCA Director of Coaches Ministry, which will serve coaches throughout the state of Florida.
Mark and his wife Gail, who is also a member of the FCA staff, have been married for 43 years and have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren.
