Motoki Oba

Motoki started playing competitive sports at the age of 10 and played baseball and basketball at the local city level in Japan. In 2007 and 08, he played basketball and futsal at Alberta College Association League in Canada. Motoki studied ministry with a sport management major at Prairie Bible College in Canada. In 2011, he came back Japan for an internship at Esperanza Sports Club in Yokohama, Japan where he served for eight years as a character coach and Assistant Club Manager.

As Motoki realized holistic coaching is one of the best ways to energize athletes to reach their full potential and impact community by their influence, he engaged with the 3D Institute becoming a Certified Presenter conducting workshops at the local level since 2015.

In 2022 he became a 3DI Representative Japan. Motoki has taken the lead role for the translation of the 3DI Coaching Course and other related 3DI courses.
