The less you know about a person, the easier it is to think poorly of, assume the negative, or even dislike them. If there is no relationship, it’s much easier to not care how your actions could impact another. All you need to do is go to social media to see that.
Help parents know who you are, especially when it relates to your intentions with the role you have as Coach. To do that, there are two things that are uniquely yours, and you need to tell them. One is your purpose, and the other is your story. A great place to do that would be at the beginning of the year Parent meeting, or during a home visit.
