Paulo has always played sports, as an athlete he started volleyball and played Futsal. He graduated in Physical Education and Theology. Early on he went to work with the physical preparation of athletes, was manager of a gym chain and Sports Chaplain. He completed an MBA in Sports Administration, when he opened a non-governmental organization (NGO) to develop sports in Brazil. Today he serves as Director of FCA for the western region of Brazil. He is married to Luciane, a former basketball athlete and has two children who are also athletes.
