3D Coaching for Sport: Certification

Thank you for giving me permission to make character development a focus of my coaching with my athletes. I always knew this was important, but always felt like the society around me wanted me to focus on outward success of a program.

This coaching course was phenomenal. It really made me think of all the levels that my athletes need to be coached. This course was truly inspiring!

The structure, self evaluation and critical thinking the course forces you to do is immeasurable. Not only has the course gave cause for me to re-evaluate the way I do things, it has reinforced some philosophies I've already adopted. Easily one of the most enjoyable coaching journey's I've taken.

I really enjoyed a lot about this course. I didn't know actively spending time with an athlete's family could have such a big impact not only on their sports performance but academic as well.

I think course is very valuable to coaches like myself that want to enhance the values needed to lead young men and women.

The course has changed the way I see my calling, God's purpose for my life has become more clear and closer to reality. I have new tools to run my race and share Jesus with other through sports.

I enjoyed this course. I looked forward to the time I sat down to do it. I found I was already coaching some in the 3rd Dimension. I look forward to the day when I can implement the things I learned in this class. I know I need to improve in areas and the knowledge gained from this class will help me do just that. Years ago our AD had us all attend the presentation at school. I loved it then. Assistants still had to pay for the course and I couldn't afford it then. The year I became head coach the school started paying for it for all coaches and made it a requirement. I love that!!

The insight and direction provided in this course will (and already has) significantly impacted my coaching, and my life.

I truly enjoyed the 3D Course Training. It has sparked a rebirth in the way that I think about working with student-athletes. I can't wait to share what I have learned and implement strategies within our program to help foster great relationships with our players.

Thought it was very informational and could really help other coaches open up to sports is more then just a game its life lessons and building character for the future

The course was great! It allowed me a lot of insight into ways in which I can become a better 2nd and 3rd dimension coach. Lots of ideas to take back to the program!

The early portions of the course are somewhat offputting due to the generalizations that happen about kids and the world. The "entitlement" generation has been created by adults. Adults have created what they now abhor. As the course moved further along, the content improved. It's a bit disconcerting to have content toward the end centered around FCA and God when that really shouldn't have anything to do with public school programming. Even as a faithful Christian, I do not intermingle the two. My values and the way I treat people would certainly align, but it is not something I bring into our program. I invite you to explore ways to eliminate that content or make it optional for those who want to explore it. The third dimension is about heart, but that doesn't mean it has to involve God or faith in God. In fact, it is important delineate between the two to best meet the needs of all coaches, athletes, and programs. Generally speaking, this program is likely helpful to a good number of folks, especially if they complete it with integrity.

This was a great course that provided a lot of insight into athletes today and provided many strategies to implement that I believe will help with any program.

I thought the course was absolutely fantastic. I learned some great new innovative ways to possibly get through to individuals in a way that the team benefits
