OSAA: Beyond the Scoreboard

This course was filled with a lot of wonderful information. It would be nice to have a way to have all the reference links compiled for future reference, could be sent upon completion with the certificate.

It helped me to reflect on the things that my coaches did while I was in high school and many of the principles that they taught fell in line with the trainings that I just received. This training caused me to reflect on the most important thing that I can do as a coach is to help bring joy to the athletes and to help them to realize their potential and guide them to their goals.

I initially thought the course would be a short online seminar, however I spent so much time learning and investing myself to further my knowledge and skills in the areas of strength and conditioning. The course was very comprehensive and I learned a lot in each of the different modules. I was pleasantly surprised to learn just through the course.

I think this is a great course for someone who has NEVER coached or taught in their life. As a coach/teacher for 10 years, I found some information redundant, but I guess that is good to hear things in the videos that I already do as a coach. I just moved to Oregon from California so I am taking the course for the first time.
