This course was created in partnership between the 3D Institute. The completion of this course, prior to assuming duties as an athletic director or coach, fully satisfies the OSAA’s Interscholastic Coaching Course one-time requirement.
- Gain a high-level understanding of the 3D Coaching Framework
- Learn about SHAPE America’s National Standards for Sports Coaches as processed through the 3D framework
- Complete this course as part of OSAA’s requirement to coach in the state of OR

I strongly believe after taking this course, i will be able to be a better coach. This course has helped me to realize coaching is more than what happen on the field and what the score looks like. Being able to connect with your athletes on and off the field and making each player feel valued and loved, will make them a better person and player.

This helped me understand that coaching goes far beyond the physical challenges
As a first year coach this really gave me insight on the importance of being involved in various aspect of a players life not only on the coach. Being a recent player as well I always knew the importance because I had coaches who understood but I never realized how much of an impact it has on me and how much of an impact I can have on my team.
This was an eye opening view of the full dimensions of a student athlete, and how to guide each one.
