Course Overview
This course was created in partnership between the 3D Institute. The completion of this course, prior to assuming duties as an athletic director or coach, fully satisfies the OSAA’s Interscholastic Coaching Course one-time requirement.
- Gain a high-level understanding of the 3D Coaching Framework
- Learn about SHAPE America’s National Standards for Sports Coaches as processed through the 3D framework
- Complete this course as part of OSAA’s requirement to coach in the state of OR
I appreciate the intention for wanting to create great coaches for high school. Although, this could have been made into a ten minute video with the same message.
All very good information. I recieved my degree in Physical Education with an Emphasis on Coaching, a lot of these concepts and new ones were presented. Well done.

I liked all the emphasis on helping develop student athletes developing morals. Especially the part about giving the older student athletes the responsibility to look out for the younger student athletes.
