Course Overview
This course was created in partnership between the 3D Institute. The completion of this course, prior to assuming duties as an athletic director or coach, fully satisfies the OSAA’s Interscholastic Coaching Course one-time requirement.
- Gain a high-level understanding of the 3D Coaching Framework
- Learn about SHAPE America’s National Standards for Sports Coaches as processed through the 3D framework
- Complete this course as part of OSAA’s requirement to coach in the state of OR
It takes too long to complete
I thought this course was great and full of information.

I am one of those older coaches that was mentioned who has had a great deal of success doing things same way I have for over 30 years.
I have practiced many of suggestions given to be a 3D coach.
However, found multiple holes in my past behavior that will be modeled differently in the future!

Great pace, informative. I'd like to see more recognizable people in the video though. (i.e. celebreties)
This was a very well put together course. I learned a lot and it helped me go back to when I was an athlete and how I responded to coaches.
The course introduced some valuable concepts and tools. There was a lot of repetition that was occasionally unnecessary and the course could have been abbreviated, especially as it seems intended to be an introductory course and not a comprehensive course.
