This course was created in partnership with the Virginia High School League to satisfy the coaching principles portion of VHSL’s coaches education mandate.
- Gain a high-level understanding of the 3D Coaching Framework
- Learn about SHAPE America’s National Standards for Sports Coaches as processed through the 3D framework
- Complete this course as part of VHSL’s requirement to coach in the state of VA

Course raises lots of ideas to consider heading into a new season
This is a great course that focuses on the impact a coach can have on not only their players, but their communities as well.
Course material was good and thought provoking. Good for a new coach. Presentation was significantly longer than 1 hour 50 minutes, and at times was difficult to navigate.
This course is awesome for coaches with any amount of experience. It breaks down coaching into it's most important pieces and dives into each one.
