This course was created in partnership with the Virginia High School League to satisfy the coaching principles portion of VHSL’s coaches education mandate.
- Gain a high-level understanding of the 3D Coaching Framework
- Learn about SHAPE America’s National Standards for Sports Coaches as processed through the 3D framework
- Complete this course as part of VHSL’s requirement to coach in the state of VA
I thought the course was long, but worthwhile. IT gives you reasons to think and assess your role in the players lives and your dedication to providing a great life experience for them,
the ideas put forth in this course gave me a chance to assess my dedication to coaching. It was time consuming, but it gave me great ideas and insight.
Great course to implement coaching as more than just instruction in skill but also implementing change and/or improvement in character and moral values!

lengthy but good videos. i disliked the quiz module but it worked ok enough.
