Course Overview
This course was created in partnership with the Virginia High School League to satisfy the coaching principles portion of VHSL’s coaches education mandate.
- Gain a high-level understanding of the 3D Coaching Framework
- Learn about SHAPE America’s National Standards for Sports Coaches as processed through the 3D framework
- Complete this course as part of VHSL’s requirement to coach in the state of VA
This course is foundation of coaching. It focuses on the why we do what we do and how we should put the best interests of the student athlete at the heart of most matters. We are more than just schemes, wins and losses, we are mentors, role models and men and women who should strive to set a positive example for our communities!
