I enjoyed how it emphasize different ways to create meaningful connections with your students. It reminds you as a coach, it's not about you, but it's about your community.
An excellent comprehensive tool for assisting coaches on their journey.
This course makes some really good points and does a great job of discussing all of the dimensions of coaching.
Helpful, positive, intentional
A great tool for introspection and growth
As an experienced high school teacher, I was extremely grateful that of the best principles of teaching that came through in these videos: build relationships with the players, communicate early and often, and focus on celebrating the things the players do right, rather than just scolding them for the things they do wrong. A team that feels welcomed and respected is a team that will listen and eventually develop the skills they need to succeed. "People don't care what you know until they know that you care."
