This course was created in partnership with the Vermont Principal’s Association to satisfy the coaching principles portion of VPA’s coaches education mandate.
Course Objectives
- Gain a high-level understanding of the 3D Coaching Framework
- Learn about SHAPE America’s National Standards for Sports Coaches as processed through the 3D framework
- Complete this course as part of VPA’s requirement to coach in the state of VT.

Hello-- I am glad this course is available; it helps newcomers understand just how important coaching is for the community and for our youth. It also shows how many caring and professional people are working to ensure a healthy athletics program for our state. It also shows that sports is not just about athletics but is a way of connecting with others in a positive way.
