This course came at a time when I needed a reminder about what really matters and why I began to teach/coach in the first place. During this course the Lord confirmed that although I am do step down from a specific sport coaching position, I am certainly never to step down from my love of students and helping them succeed in life, even though as an "At Risk" teacher I rarely sees the longer lasting fruits of my labor. This course has taken what I have attempted to do as a Christ follower/educator, from day one, and given it more definition and detail that can keep me from getting distracted. No matter how much longer I am an educator, in this setting or another, I will keep my Transformational Purpose Statement at the forefront of all I do as a child of God, in my marriage, with my own children as well as the ones I am able to love on in all of life's encounters.
