Overall, I found this course to be informative and easy to follow. There were some quizzes that I found focused on topics that weren't really emphasized as much in the videos which is why I struggled with some questions. Other than that I do not have any other suggestions.

This course gives coaches a true understanding of what it means to not only coach a sport, but develop the entire athlete. As a former teacher, I was familiar with the importance of making connections with students. It was a skill I prided myself on. In my heart, I think I already knew I wanted that for my athletes as well, but I also believed that coaches needed to be "drill sergeants." I felt like athletes should view coaches as the pinnacle of knowledge, which looking back, would likely make a coach seem unapproachable and distant.

I love how this course changed my mindset and helped me to formulate a coaching philosophy that fosters relationships as well as skills. I'm excited to get back to the pool and put what I learned to use!
