Course Overview
This course was created in partnership between the 3D Institute. The completion of this course, prior to assuming duties as an athletic director or coach, fully satisfies the OSAA’s Interscholastic Coaching Course one-time requirement.
- Gain a high-level understanding of the 3D Coaching Framework
- Learn about SHAPE America’s National Standards for Sports Coaches as processed through the 3D framework
- Complete this course as part of OSAA’s requirement to coach in the state of OR
This course is the most beneficial course I have taken as a brand new coach. I was raised by coaches and this embodies their mindset.
Amazing course! Opened my eyes to better approach to coaching. I will definitely be implementing this and hope to get the opportunity to explore this more.
As a former high school athelete, this course has made me appreciate and understand the things that my coach did for me and makes me want to do the same for all student athletes.

I have been Coaching youth sports going on Three Decades and have always believed that Sport was just a tool to help create great human beings. This course has shown me that my beliefs were not misguided and provides a wealth of resources to put ideals to practice.
