Course Overview
This course was created in partnership between the 3D Institute. The completion of this course, prior to assuming duties as an athletic director or coach, fully satisfies the OSAA’s Interscholastic Coaching Course one-time requirement.
- Gain a high-level understanding of the 3D Coaching Framework
- Learn about SHAPE America’s National Standards for Sports Coaches as processed through the 3D framework
- Complete this course as part of OSAA’s requirement to coach in the state of OR

This course was filled with a lot of wonderful information. It would be nice to have a way to have all the reference links compiled for future reference, could be sent upon completion with the certificate.
Worthy of the time spent!
I enjoyed the course. It helped me to reflect on the things that my coaches did while I was in high school and many of the principles that they taught fell in line with the trainings that I just received. This training caused me to reflect on the most important thing that I can do as a coach is to help bring joy to the athletes and to help them to realize their potential and guide them to their goals.

Awesome course! Great information to be used in the growth and development of today's young athletes. Loved the enthusiasm, knowledge and inspiration from all of the presenters in this course. Highly recommend to any new or veteran coach!

I really enjoyed the course and took a lot from it. I love that the course focuses in building leaders and not just building "winners".
this was well put together.
I initially thought the course would be a short online seminar, however I spent so much time learning and investing myself to further my knowledge and skills in the areas of strength and conditioning. The course was very comprehensive and I learned a lot in each of the different modules. I was pleasantly surprised to learn just through the course.
Very informative. Love that you can still be passionate about something but also coach from the heart.
Overall, it seemed to contain a positive outlook towards coaching and instruction. Although it felt a tad bit redundant at times, it was a well-designed course.
