The course was filled with lots of good resources, feedback, and practical ideas for coaches. More importantly, it allows coaches to reflect on the purpose of what they're doing and hopefully come up with a plan of action to be the best coach and person they can be.

After 24 years of coaching, I felt beat up and was looking for any reason to exit coaching all together. My "Fire" for coaching was burning out! Throughout taking this course with my mentor Kane Ulrich, I started to find joy and excitement in my coaching again. This course was personally challenging and rewarding in many ways. It re-defined my purpose and the "why" I got into coaching philosophy. I am now excited to try many 2nd and 3rd dimension strategies with my middle and high school student athletes. More importantly, I cant wait to mentor younger coaches in 3D.

The 3D coaching course is a great course. There is so much information and by the time you get to the end you have to go back in the handbook to remember all the great teaching. Even if you are a coach that is doing may of these things already it really reinforces the importance of those 2nd and 3rd dimension aspects that make a team a great community for the athlete.

I believe wholeheartedly in 3D Coaching and what it will do for my athletes and the community that I am a part of. For those who find it difficult to buy into the abstract, the subjective aspects of coaching—much of this framework is grounded in social and sports psychology and are considered research-backed, scientific fields of study. In this day and age, it would be a dishonor to the youth we interact with to NOT attempt to reach them in the 3rd dimension.

As I went through the program, I saw some activities and techniques that I have used with my athletes. But the 3 Dimensional Coaching program is the first complete package of coaching techniques I've seen, put together to provide a framework for a coaching philosophy. I'd definetly recommend this program to all coaches. Whether they are just getting started or have been coaching for years.

Some of the videos that go over things from other sections are too long. Most of the video lengths are good but some are just too long. Overall I learned a lot of strategies to help improve my coaching and would definitely recommend this to other coaches.
