This is the third time that I have gone through this coursework. My initial time was back when 3D was first getting off of the ground. The curriculum was great back then and I have often told colleagues and coaches that this curriculum has brought out some of the best conversation around coaching and kids that I have ever had in my time as an educator. Seeing the changes between my first time through this curriculum to now, the changes are phenomenal. The practicality and elements that this course now entails will help keep my teachers and coaches accountable and provides them a true framework to not only enhance their practices now, but also give them the drive to continue to seek out best practices in the future. Doing this course with my staff has been a true blessing. I can't wait to do it with more of my staff!!

This course is wonderful for the current times that we are in. Fifteen years ago, I stepped away from coaching to have more time to raise my two boys. As I have watched them progress through our school and athletic teams, I know that times have changed since I last coached. Using the 2nd and 3rd dimensions to reach student athletes on a level that will not only help them as an athlete, but to just be a better person to be successful in their futures after organized sports is "spot on".

I came into this course as a classroom teacher with an idea that one day, I may want to coach a sport. I wasn't sure how much of it would apply to me at this stage in my career. However, what I found is that so much of 3D is transferable to what I do every day in my classroom. This course has inspired me to want to do MORE. I've felt like teaching was my calling, but now I know there is so much more I can do beyond the classroom because of 3D!
