This course seemed to hit the balance for maximum impact and encouragement! Well done -thank you!
Outstanding reminder of the goals and expectations of the coach, especially for myself, a tennis coach who is back in the 'game' as a high school coach 20 years after he last coached, and the fact the student-athlete had different pressures and issues maybe they didn't have to deal with 20 years ago.
Great overview of what every coach needs to understand in the core values of bringing these student athletes to the next level. In life, school and in competition .
Interesting and informative.
Great Course! Inspiring, well thought out and great explanations.
This course is spot on!
After completing the 3D course, I am inspired to connect with our student-athletes in all 3 dimensions.
What an incredible resource. So inspiring. Thank you!
I learned a lot and will bring it to the track
This was a great course. It was thought provoking and powerful. The process is so much more important than the outcome. If you have a healthy process - you have won...no matter the final score.
Good
Overall, I felt it was a great a course.
Overall this was a very valuable course for all coaches, parents, school administrators, and fans of high school sports fans - new and old alike. I was fortunate enough to stumble across an incredible Coach my freshman year in high school. He was an offensive line coach for the football team that likely drew the short straw (he would never put it that way) to fill the vacant cross country coaching position. He instinctively knew how to motivate, mentor, and develop young athletes but didn't know a thing about coaching distance runners in the late 60's. Turns out that didn't matter as much as was the development of our character and community. Within two years he coached teams to multiple State Championship titles over the next 20 years. Those titles didn't mean near as much as our personal growth as young men along the way. All of his runners, plus our former competitors, still share stories and memories through social media still to this day. I've always attributed my our collective experience with our coach as dumb luck, likely impossible to emulate. With my runners I try to be the closest version of our Coach as I can be but never sure I'm pulling it off to the extent that he did. As I attended this course I became aware that he incorporated many, if not all, of the attributes outlined in the presentations. The true value of this course is that it takes the mystery out of what it takes positively develop upstanding athletes and citizens.
Was a pretty good course, showed different methods of being a better coach
I think one of the most important learning tools as coaches is to watch / listen to other coaches and this course did this magnificently.
So very interesting and revealing as to my skills now and where I see how much better I can/will be !
I thought it was super good content, a bit long but I loved how it took modern strategies to grow from modern society/issues. It's different, it's inclusive, it's a new take on the new generation.
keep doing it.
Excellent course
