Description
Ideally, coaches and parents should work together for the benefit of the athletes. Unfortunately, too often there are rifts in this relationship that create problems for all involved. This course is designed to create a coach and parent partnership that helps solidify team cohesion and ultimately helps the athletes flourish in all three dimensions.
Over the span of 23 modules, this course will guide you through the “Dynamic Model for Cultural Alignment.” Just as all four wheels on a car must be aligned for it to move forward with efficiency, coaches and parents must be aligned on all four “wheels” of this model: Purpose, Process, Roles, and Trust. Along the way, you will learn practical strategies to align each wheel.
Once alignment is obtained, everyone (players, coaches and parents) will benefit from a unified effort and the program will move forward in the right direction.

I enjoyed the aspect of talking about seniority leading to mpre responsibilities, not rights and that being displayed in the story of the two daughters. I also liked during the trust segment talking about opening up and being vulnerable and telling your story to begin the trust and connections.
