Obtaining Alignment Between Coaches and Parents
The Obtaining Alignment Between Coaches and Parents course is designed to help coaches create a partnership with parents toward the end of helping athletes flourish in all 3Dimensions. This course is full of practical insights and strategies to:
- help coaches align parents to a PURPOSE that transcends issues like playing time and scholarship opportunities
- layout a PROCESS for building healthy relationships between coaches and parents
- clarify ROLES between coaches and parents for optimal athlete benefit
- establish TRUST with both parents and athletes alike
Excellent
great job!
This course gives great ideas on how to mitigate potential parent issues by creating a culture of trust from the very beginning.
Sound, practical information
The portion about relationships with parents was so great!
This course confirms why we coach and also provides hope that it can be as enjoyable as we want as long as there is alignment with our parents. As an activities director, I hope to be able to use the content of this course to help our coaches, parents, and ultimately the students.
I approached this course from two viewpoints. The first was as a parent. This course helped me better understand and see some of the underlying situations that our coaches deal with. The second viewpoint is that as a staff member with FCA. This course is helpful to me as I communicate with coaches, athletes, AD's, principals and parents. This is a resource that I will definitely be sharing with those in my circle of influence.
Didn't agree with some of the philosophy(normal when your old) but really enjoyed taking the coarse. I think it would be great for new coaches. I really liked the 4 wheels view.
Another well done 3 Dimensional class. Thank you!
Fresh perspective.
I Loved the ideas this program gave me to help better my relationship with my players parents.
This is a very good training. I learned so much from it and would recommend it to everyone in the coaching/teaching field.
Great information
As a coach, one of the toughest situations I have encountered is dealing with an unhappy parent. This course gives you strategies to be proactive when dealing with parents. This course will help you grow as a coach and feel prepared with difficult situations encountered off of the field.
If coaches would use this before they meet with any parents - perhaps when they are still an assistant, aspiring to be the head coach, they would build a cultural that student-athletes and their families would be excited to join, and enthusiastically believe that they were a part of the program and it's accomplishments.
It is qualitatively good for me and I looked at the cursus as a student. I find that the study material is applicable.
This is a great course about being able to bridge the relationships between coaches and parents and ahow to communicate efficiently.
Very good information.
